Daydream Island Resort and Living Reef has become the first island in the Whitsunday Islands region to welcome back guests ahead of QLD borders re-opening.
The welcoming of intrastate and interstate travellers marks an exciting moment for Australian tourism following the COVID-19 pandemic. The resort is the first in the Whitsundays to officially be accredited as a COVID CLEAN resort; meaning they have developed, and initiated business practices specifically aimed to maintain high hygiene standards and stop the spread of COVID-19. Daydream Island Resort and Living Reef will continue to implement their COVID Safe Health Management Plan, in line with the Queensland Government regulations.
With this new COVID-19 health and safety measures, guest with receive individual amenity cleaning kits and personal-use sanitizer/wipes for guests and there will be a focus on reduced contact, with touchless transactions and digitisation throughout the resort including contactless check in and check out and QR code activated menus.
