Destination DC is offering Australian and New Zealand travel advisors the chance to win more than $1,500 in Visa gift cards as part of a month-long incentive linked to its online specialist training program.
Running from 1 to 31 August 2026, the promotion rewards advisors who complete the DC Special Agent Academy, or existing graduates who complete three additional elective courses during the campaign period.
Specialist training unlocks prize draw
Eligible advisors will automatically be entered into a prize draw featuring one $500 Visa gift card, two $200 gift cards and seven $100 gift cards, with prizes awarded in either Australian or New Zealand dollars depending on the winner’s country of residence.
The free online DC Special Agent Academy is designed to help advisors build their knowledge of Washington, DC through training covering the city’s monuments, museums, neighbourhoods, dining, arts and cultural experiences.
Building destination knowledge
Destination DC’s representative for Australia and New Zealand, Corey Marshall, said the campaign recognised the important role travel advisors play in inspiring holidays and building destination awareness.
“Whether advisors are completing the academy for the first time or building on their existing certification, this incentive recognises their commitment to expanding their knowledge of Washington, DC,” Marshall said.
