The direct daytime ICE service between Paris and Berlin has been suspended until further notice, though Rail Europe says multiple alternative routings still connect the two cities in around eight and a half hours with one change.
Alternative routings maintain journey times
With the direct ICE off the timetable, travellers can still reach Berlin from Paris via a change at Mannheim, Frankfurt, Karlsruhe or Stuttgart departing from Paris Est, or via Cologne departing from Paris Nord. Current timetabled options include:

Journey times across these alternatives remain broadly comparable to the suspended direct service, with a single change required in each case.
