Èliva opens new luxury day spa in the Blue Mountains

Salter Brothers Hospitality has opened Èliva Blue Mountains at Ardour Lilianfels, adding a new luxury day spa and wellness offering to the historic Blue Mountains property as part of its multimillion-dollar transformation.

The opening expands the recently launched Èliva wellness brand beyond its flagship at InterContinental Coogee Beach and regional location at Ardour Milton Park Bowral, strengthening Salter Brothers Hospitality’s wellness portfolio across New South Wales.

New wellness offering at Ardour Lilianfels

Èliva Blue Mountains features four treatment rooms alongside a recovery lounge with a vibroacoustic bed, traditional saunas, steam rooms and mineral pools.

Its treatment menu is structured around three pillars – Rest, Recovery and Invigorate – and combines body therapies, facials and recovery treatments with technology, botanical ingredients and products from brands including Hungarian skincare house Omorovicza.

Each treatment begins at Èliva’s Signature Oil Bar, where guests receive a consultation and can personalise botanical oils including avocado, macadamia, grapeseed and apricot with an essential oil blend inspired by the Blue Mountains.

Signature treatments include the Èliva Retreat, combining massage, back exfoliation and a customised facial; Walking In Nature, a full-body treatment drawing on forest bathing concepts; and the 120-minute Moor Mud Detoxifier using Hungarian Moor Mud.

“The launch of Èliva brings something completely fresh to the Blue Mountains region,” Èliva Blue Mountains Spa Manager Trudi Zurlinden said.

“Our goal is to create a space where guests can deeply relax and restore their energy by approaching wellness as a complete ecosystem – one that matches the peaceful nature of the Blue Mountains region.”

Spa forms part of Lilianfels transformation

The spa opening is a key stage in the multimillion-dollar refurbishment of Lilianfels as the second heritage property in Salter Brothers Hospitality’s Ardour Hotels & Estates collection.

Other changes include redesigned interiors, a new bar called The Lounge and expanded food and beverage experiences, including caviar service, a cheese experience, wine wall and new high tea offering.

Salter Brothers Hospitality COO Chris Curran said the spa was an important part of the repositioning of the property.

“The debut of Èliva Blue Mountains cements the spectacular new benchmark being set with Ardour Lilianfels’ transformation,” Curran said.

Regional wellness portfolio expands

Èliva launched in 2026 as Salter Brothers Hospitality’s dedicated wellness brand, with its first locations at InterContinental Coogee Beach and Ardour Milton Park Bowral.

The Blue Mountains opening gives the group another wellness-led experience within a major regional tourism destination and provides travel advisors with a new option for clients combining accommodation, dining and spa experiences within a short-break itinerary.

Èliva Blue Mountains is open from 10:00 to 17:00 Monday to Thursday and from 09:00 to 18:00 Friday to Sunday.
