Emirates will showcase an industry-first electrically powered Premium Economy seat featuring a full-height adjustable privacy divider at Arabian Travel Market 2026 in Dubai, running from 14 to 17 September.
New A350 seat adds privacy and entertainment features
The seat, fitted to Emirates’ A350 aircraft, introduces preset lounge and meal positions alongside the airline’s U-Dream leather headrest, wireless charging, USB-C power and a 13.3-inch 4K HDR screen. The privacy divider marks a new differentiator in the Premium Economy category, a cabin segment airlines have increasingly used to bridge the gap between Economy and Business class product.
Alongside the new seat, Emirates will display its A380 Shower Spa, A380 Onboard Lounge, Boeing 777 Game Changer First Class Suite, A350 Business Class seat and A350 Economy Class seat with the U-Dream headrest, giving trade visitors a full view of the airline’s current cabin range across aircraft types.
Stand to host trade meetings and partner deals
Emirates said its stand would include meeting spaces accommodating more than 130 visitors at a time, with the airline planning to progress agreements with more than 30 partners across tourism boards, technology providers and travel organisations during the event. The stand will also feature sustainability displays covering vertical farming initiative Bustanica, Emirates Airline Foundation projects, and conservation work in Australia’s Wolgan Valley and the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve.
For Australian trade attending or following ATM, the new Premium Economy product signals a cabin upgrade advisors can expect to see rolled out on relevant A350 routes, adding a further point of differentiation when positioning Emirates against competing carriers in the Premium Economy segment.
