G Adventures and National Geographic Expeditions have expanded their joint touring portfolio with 30 new itineraries, comprising 24 new Journeys and six updated Family Journeys, built around local hosts, guides and community connections rather than standard sightseeing.
Family Journeys add dedicated kids’ programming

The updated Family Journeys collection introduces two dedicated Expedition Leaders per trip, one focused on child engagement and the other on logistics, along with a new Junior Explorers Night for children and a Made Together Moment craft activity shared across the group. Groups are capped at 22 travellers.
New Family itineraries include the nine-day Peru Family Journey: The Amazon and Machu Picchu, which pairs naturalist-led wildlife walks with ceramic painting taught by the Cuyo Chico community and a visit to the Parwa community restaurant’s farm-to-table program. The 12-day Southeast Asia Family Journey: Halong Bay and Angkor Wat includes circus skills training from Cambodia’s Phare performers and a homestay-based cooking experience in Vietnam’s Tra Que Village.
New Journeys itineraries span wildlife, culture and wine regions

Among the standard Journeys collection, the eight-day Wildlife of the Galapagos Islands itinerary includes time with conservationists at the Charles Darwin Research Station and a naturalist-led snorkelling excursion, alongside a native tree-planting activity. The eight-day Best of Northern Thailand itinerary includes a Khantoke dinner in a local home and time with monks at Wat Phra That Doi Suthep following evening chanting.
The eight-day Iconic Christmas Markets itinerary includes a cooking class in a Prague home kitchen and a meal at a Budapest café dedicated to social inclusion for people with disabilities, while the eight-day Highlights of the Loire Valley and Bordeaux itinerary pairs château visits with winemaker tastings across multiple generations of family-run vineyards.
