Globus family of brands launches new travel advisor portal

The Globus family of brands (GFOB) has officially launched its globally integrated Travel Advisor Portal (TAP) in Australia, providing travel advisors with a streamlined platform packed with advanced features to support bookings and client engagement.

The new portal includes a host of upgraded tools designed to enhance the advisor experience:

  • Enhanced reservation system: A user-friendly booking interface with improved functionality.
  • Trade training program: Access to GFOB University, a platform offering in-depth training on GFOB products.
  • Custom marketing resources: ‘The Source,’ a tool for creating tailored marketing materials to engage clients.
  • Share itinerary function: A feature enabling advisors to generate personalised links that direct clients back to their advisor for final bookings, ensuring commission retention.

Training and ongoing support

To help advisors make the most of TAP, GFOB hosted a series of training webinars last week. Advisors who missed the sessions can access on-demand training videos within the portal. For more personalised support, GFOB’s Business Development Managers are available for one-on-one training sessions.

Brett Simon, head of commercial ANZ, highlighted the portal’s potential, saying, “We are excited to see our new globally integrated Travel Advisor Portal live and ready for travel advisors to use. We look forward to seeing our advisor partners reaping the benefits of its advanced features and efficiencies that will make booking and managing cruises and tours easier than ever.”
