Globus family of brands launches new travel advisor portal

Globus family of brands (GFOB) is set to roll out its globally integrated Travel Advisor Portal (TAP) in December, designed to streamline bookings and enhance efficiency for Australian travel advisors.

Training to support the launch

To help advisors navigate the upgraded portal, GFOB will host a series of training webinars starting Thursday, 5 December. These sessions will provide an in-depth look at TAP’s features, including:

  • Steps to log in or sign up for the new portal.
  • Making and managing bookings.
  • Changes to invoices and client documentation.
  • Accessing the new GFOB University training platform.
  • Using marketing tools to create personalised materials.
  • Navigation tips for the portal.

Advisors unable to attend the live webinars will receive step-by-step instructions and an FAQ document to assist with the transition.

Key features of the new portal

The new TAP includes innovative features to support travel advisors:

  • Enhanced reservation system: A user-friendly interface with improved functionality.
  • GFOB University: A training platform to equip advisors with tools and knowledge for booking GFOB products.
  • Custom marketing resources: A tool called The Source enables agents to create personalised marketing materials.
  • Commission retention: Personalised itinerary links ensure customers return to their agent before finalising bookings.

Supporting advisors

Brett Simon, head of commercial ANZ for GFOB, emphasised the importance of advisor support: ‘We are committed to ensuring our advisors are set up for success to maximise the portal’s efficiencies, so have prioritised creating an abundance of training and educational resources to support them in this process.’

Advisors can register for the training webinars here.
