Gow-Gates Insurance Brokers has renewed its Strategic Partnership with the Australian Travel Industry Association, extending a relationship built over more than 40 years supporting the travel insurance needs of agents and tour operators.
Partnership spans former CATO relationship
Gow-Gates has more than 60 years’ experience advising Australian organisations and has developed dedicated insurance solutions specific to the risks facing travel agents and tour operators. The renewed partnership continues a relationship that previously spanned both ATIA and the Council of Australian Tour Operators, now consolidated following CATO’s integration into ATIA.
Gow-Gates client engagement representative Suzana Strbac said the firm’s role extended beyond arranging cover.
“Our role is not simply to arrange insurance, but to understand those businesses, provide specialist advice and support our clients as the industry evolves,” Strbac said.
“We are proud to renew our Strategic Partnership with ATIA and continue our longstanding commitment to its members and the Australian travel industry.”
ATIA highlights consistency through industry challenges
ATIA chief executive Dean Long said Gow-Gates’ sustained engagement through difficult periods for the sector demonstrated long-term commitment.
“Their relationship extends across both ATIA and CATO and has continued through some of the most challenging periods our industry has experienced. That is a strong demonstration of genuine, long-term commitment,” Long said.
Under the renewed partnership, Gow-Gates will continue engaging with ATIA members and the wider industry, sharing specialist knowledge on risk and resilience relevant to travel businesses.
