Holland America Line has released its 2027–2028 program for Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific, featuring longer regional voyages, new overnight stays and expanded opportunities for wildlife, culture and nature-based exploration.
Sailing from September 2027 to March 2028, three ships will operate itineraries ranging from 14 to 35 days, including voyages that explore the Great Barrier Reef, Fiji, Tonga, Vanuatu, New Zealand and iconic islands across the Pacific.
Extended Voyages and In-Demand Overnight Stays
The season introduces overnight stays in Melbourne, Cairns and Lautoka, giving travellers more time to explore everything from world-class dining and arts precincts to coral reefs, rainforests and Fijian cultural experiences. These additions expand Holland America Line’s long-standing focus on deeper destination access and slow-travel immersion.
Legendary Voyages Across the Region
Travellers seeking extended exploration can choose from several Legendary Voyages. Itineraries such as the 26-day Australia, Coral Sea & Fiji journey and the 35-day Hawaii, Tahiti & Marquesas voyage connect diverse landscapes and cultures while offering scenic cruising, multi-country discovery and rare wildlife encounters.
Wildlife, UNESCO Wonders and Over 100 Nature Tours
The new season includes more than 100 wildlife and nature experiences, from glowworm caves and sheep stations to reef snorkelling and fairy penguin viewing. Guests can also visit up to 13 UNESCO World Heritage sites, including the Gondwana Rainforests, the lagoons of New Caledonia and Sydney Opera House.
A Taste of the Region On Board
The Destination Dining program features regional dishes such as meat pies, pavlovas, green-lipped mussels and tropical produce, paired with Holland America Line’s award-winning culinary approach.
