HBX Group has relaunched its Bedsonline travel advisor booking platform as Bedsonline+. The new platform brings accommodation, experiences, mobility and packaging together with AI-powered search and itinerary tools. The company says the change is intended to help advisors build multi-service trips and respond to changing traveller expectations.
AI tools added to advisor platform
Bedsonline+ combines HBX Group’s product range, including premium and luxury accommodation, experiences, mobility and packaging, with new technology for advisors. The technology includes:
- smart itinerary-building functionality
- AI-powered destination discovery
- data-led insights designed to help advisors identify emerging travel trends
HBX Group said the relaunch brings several years of investment and product enhancements together into a single offering. The company has supported travel advisors through Bedsonline for more than two decades.
HBX Group Chief Distribution Officer David Amsellem said the relaunch was a response to AI and to changing traveller demands.
“Bedsonline+ is about embracing the current AI revolution and making it simpler for travel advisors to benefit from everything we’ve built over the years,” Amsellem said. “Today, we’re bringing those investments together into a clearer proposition that makes it easier for travel advisors to create more value for their clients and unlock new opportunities for growth.”
Loyalty program expands in selected markets
In selected markets, Bedsonline+ also includes an enhanced loyalty program. HBX Group said the program was recently extended to new markets and that further developments are planned in the coming months. The company did not say which markets are included.
HBX Group said existing partners would keep the same relationships and service under the new brand.
Pressure on advisors to package trips
The relaunch comes as advisors face growing pressure to deliver personalised recommendations and trips that combine several services. At the same time, AI is changing how consumers research and book travel.
For advisors, the change is designed to make it easier to package accommodation, experiences and transport through a single B2B platform. It also gives them access to planning tools that were previously spread across the Bedsonline offering.
HBX Group owns and operates Hotelbeds, Bedsonline+, The Luxurist, Roiback, Civitfun and PerfectStay. It operates in more than 170 countries and employs more than 3,500 people.
