Hotel Review: Mantra 2 Bond Street Sydney

Whether you are staying in Sydney for work or pleasure, Mantra 2 Bond Street in Sydney is the place to stay. It’s home away from home approach will have you feeling like you own the place.

Location is key at the Mantra 2 Bond Street, with tourist attractions like Sydney Harbour, Sydney Opera House, Circular Quay and Darling Harbour right on your doorstep. If you want to explore further than your feet can take you, than jump on the train with the station just a minute’s walk away.

Just 15 minutes from the airport (depending on traffic) and you will be at the door of the hotel, where the welcoming staff are ready to assist with your stay. They even allowed me to store my luggage due to my early 6am arrival, so it was secure until I returned for check in.

The Hotel

With newly renovated rooms, this hotel feels fresh and lively while holding a stylish flare. There is a rooftop pool and spa, perfect for relaxing as you overlook the vibrant Sydney cityscape and harbour views. For the fitness fanatics who like to stick with their routine while away, there is a fully equipped gym. Business travellers can access business facilities such as printing services and more. Leisure travellers who are keen to explore the area can talk to the tour desk to plan their adventures and sight-seeing.

Rooms

Mantra 2 Bond Street has a number of room types to suit any traveller or length of stay. Long stay guests might like to choose one of the Executive Apartments, which come in studio, one bedroom and two-bedroom options. These newly refurbished apartments offer all the comforts of home from a full kitchen, laundry facilities and ironing facilities, TVs, Internet and even a cosy throw rug for when you are sat on the couch in the lounge room. The plush queen size bed will ensure a good night’s sleep and the stylings of the room are quite funky. For shorter stays, there are the Studio Apartments, just as stylish but lacking the size and facilities. For those groups travelling, the Three-Bedroom Penthouse may be the way to go.

Upon entering the hotel you will find Memento Lounge & Bistro, a modern 85 seat bar and restaurant. It serves up Australia’s best produce, specialising in sophisticated, modern food with a traditional touch and an exclusive selection of Australian and International wines, while celebrating the urban environment located onsite at Mantra 2 Bond Street.
