Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) has welcomed HX Expeditions as its newest Regional Expedition/Ocean Cruise Line member in Australasia, strengthening the brand’s presence in the Australian and New Zealand markets.
Supporting growth in the expedition cruise sector
The partnership brings HX into CLIA’s wider Australasian cruise community, which includes cruise lines, travel agents, destinations, ports, suppliers and industry stakeholders. As a member, HX will participate in CLIA’s training programs, trade events, and advocacy initiatives throughout the region.

Founded in 1896, HX operates a fleet of five modern ships visiting over 250 destinations in 30 countries. The company donates more than 1,900 cruise nights annually to onboard scientists and supports local communities through the HX Foundation.
