Join Air Canada in Brisbane for ‘Take Off to the US, Eh!’ industry event

Air Canada, in partnership with Brisbane Airport and Linkd Tourism, is gearing up to host a dedicated trade event—Take Off to the US, Eh!—designed to engage and inform the Queensland travel industry about the airline’s North American network and seamless connections via Canada.

The event will be held in Brisbane on Wednesday 7 May 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at The Ballpark Portside, and will bring together travel agents, tour operators, and tourism professionals for an evening of networking, destination updates and a fun Canadian-themed celebration of trans-Pacific travel.

Spotlight on seamless connections via Canada

The event highlights Air Canada’s year-round non-stop service from Brisbane to Vancouver, which offers one of the most convenient gateways for Australian travellers heading to the United States and beyond. From its Vancouver hub, Air Canada provides smooth one-stop connections to over 100 destinations across North America, including major US cities such as New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Chicago.

With competitive fares, generous baggage allowances and easy transits at Vancouver International Airport—where passengers clear US customs and immigration before departure—Air Canada continues to position itself as a preferred choice for Queenslanders travelling to the US.

A fun, informative evening for the trade

Hosted by Linkd Tourism, the event will include destination updates, Air Canada product highlights, prize giveaways and entertainment inspired by the best of Canadian culture. Attendees will learn how to better position Canada as a smart and seamless transit option to the US, while strengthening relationships with key airline and airport partners.

Places are limited and RSVPs are essential for travel advisors wishing to attend this exclusive event.

Agents are encouraged to register for the event via this link. Registrations close on April 25, so hurry as spots are limited.
