Laidley Spring Festival returns to Lockyer Valley

The Laidley Spring Festival will run from 11 to 12 September 2026 in Queensland’s Lockyer Valley, offering a three-day program of events less than an hour’s drive from Brisbane and around 30 minutes from Toowoomba.

Festival program spans multiple events

The festival includes a street parade, a Twilight Feast & Fest, a spring garden fair, a spring orchid show, a quilt and craft expo, a spring gem show, an under-fives day, an art exhibition, a Show ‘n’ Shine and Sunday’s Bee Happy Day in Forest Hill.

The event’s proximity to Brisbane and Toowoomba makes it a straightforward day-trip or short-stay option for operators packaging regional Queensland touring, particularly for clients seeking a spring event within easy reach of South East Queensland.

Regional operators add spring promotions

Separately, Lockyer Valley businesses are running Bites, Blooms & Beyond from 1 to 20 September, a broader regional promotion featuring seasonal produce, picnic hampers, high teas, tastings and other limited-time offerings from local operators.

A prize promotion is also running alongside the festival, offering a Lockyer Valley weekend package valued at more than $650, including a VIP twilight picnic experience on 11 September, a one-night stay at Porters Plainland Motel, a produce hamper and breakfast for two. Entries close at 17:00 on 21 August 2026.
