Australian family travel magazine, Holidays With Kids, has announced the results of its annual Readers Choice Awards 2024, with Malolo Island Resort securing the No. 3 spot for Best Family Resort in Fiji (4 stars and under).
The award reflects the votes of over 600,000 parents, including 83,300 online subscribers and more than 140,000 social media followers.

Major Upgrades at Malolo
Over the past year, Malolo has undergone significant upgrades, with an investment of more than FJD $4.6 million. Enhancements include a FJD $1.5 million technology upgrade, introducing Wi-Fi in all rooms and a new resort app. Other improvements include upgrades to the grounds, gardens, and public areas, as well as new beds, curtains, and espresso machines in all rooms. Further developments planned for this year include a revitalised adults-only pool area and the completion of an on-site water production and bottling plant, which will provide complimentary still and sparkling water to guests in recycled glass bottles.
Celebrating 25 Years of Malolo
Malolo Island Resort is celebrating its 25th anniversary, “25 Years Under the Sun,” on 20th November 2024. To mark this milestone, the resort is inviting guests to join the celebrations with special offers, including free daily spa treatments or complimentary nanny services.
