MGallery Collection has signed Ink48 in New York as its US flagship property, marking Accor’s brand entry into Manhattan ahead of a 2028 reopening following renovation.
Manhattan hotel to undergo full renovation

Located in Hell’s Kitchen overlooking the Hudson River, Ink48 features 222 guestrooms and suites, including a signature penthouse, alongside ground-floor restaurant Hudson Local, rooftop bar Hudson VU, approximately 6,000 square feet of meeting and event space, and a fitness centre. The hotel will continue operating independently during the renovation period before officially joining MGallery Collection in 2028, managed by Rebel Hotel Company.
Sofitel Legend, Sofitel, MGallery and Emblems chief executive Maud Bailly said the signing represented a strategic milestone for the brand’s US growth.
“As our preeminent flagship MGallery in the United States, Ink 48 will play an important role in increasing brand awareness and supporting our continued expansion across the region,” Bailly said.
US positioned as key growth market for MGallery

The agreement follows MGallery’s earlier US entry with Hotel Ändra Seattle, with the United States ranking among the brand’s top five feeder markets globally. MGallery currently operates more than 125 hotels worldwide, with more than 60 projects in development and nine openings planned before the end of 2026, including properties in Mykonos, Oléron, the Maldives and Samos.
Capstone Equities head of asset management Andres Ramirez said the MGallery affiliation suited the property’s existing identity.
“Ink48 has always stood apart in Manhattan’s hotel landscape, a property with a genuine sense of place and a loyal following. MGallery is the ideal brand to build on that,” Ramirez said.
