TEMBO Beach Club & Resort, set on the pristine white sands of Bangrak Beach in northern Koh Samui, has unveiled its newest accommodation—the Moroccan-inspired Riad Suite. Designed as a luxurious retreat for families or groups of friends, the suite brings the magic of North Africa to Thailand’s tropical shores.
A taste of Morocco in Thailand
At the heart of the suite is a striking inner courtyard, decorated with authentic Moroccan touches, from vibrant hanging lanterns to traditional Berber-style rugs. The three-bedroom suite includes one king-size and two double bedrooms, all sharing a spacious bathroom featuring a freestanding tub, walk-in shower and antique-style furniture crafted in Chiang Mai.
Owner Susan Field, inspired by her travels through Africa and Morocco, said the new suite reflects her passion for extraordinary destinations.
“Our love for unique places goes beyond Thailand. Morocco’s mystical architecture captivated me, and it has been a joy to recreate its essence at TEMBO,” Field said.
Rates for the Riad Suite start at THB12,000 nett, excluding breakfast.

A beachfront haven with style and soul
Named after the Swahili word for “elephant,” TEMBO Beach Club & Resort offers a relaxed yet stylish beachfront experience. Guests can unwind on the pool terrace, enjoy Mediterranean and Asian-inspired cuisine, and take in views of Koh Phangan. The resort hosts top DJs throughout the week, including its signature “Sunset Sessions” twice a week.
TEMBO’s accommodation includes nine double bungalows and a beachfront Honeymoon Villa, all featuring custom-crafted furniture, hand-carved bedheads and premium amenities. The resort is also a sought-after destination for weddings, with Bangrak Beach translating to “Love Beach.”
