Nashville turns up the heat for a vibrant 2025 summer season

Travellers looking for a dynamic, music-filled American summer should keep Nashville high on their radar. The Tennessee capital, often hailed as the soul of American music, is rolling out an exciting lineup of events and festivals for the 2025 summer season, combining headline concerts, cultural celebrations and family-friendly entertainment.

With enhanced air access to the USA and a growing appetite for multi-generational and themed holidays, Music City presents compelling product opportunities for the Australian travel trade.

A musical summer to remember

Nashville’s music calendar is stacked this year, headlined by the 100th anniversary of the Grand Ole Opry and the world premiere of DOLLY: An Original Musical (17 July – 17 August), based on the life and songs of the iconic Dolly Parton. At the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, Dolly Parton: Journey of a Seeker launches on 20 May and runs until 30 September 2026.

Another major highlight is the CMA Fest (5–8 June), the world’s longest-running country music festival, now in its 52nd year. With ticketed shows at Nissan Stadium and Ascend Amphitheater, as well as free outdoor performances downtown, the event draws fans globally. Festival bundles include accommodation and exclusive perks, making it ideal for agents crafting experiential travel packages.
