Nesuto’s 10th property in its Australian portfolio will open in Perth in November 2021.
Nesuto Curtin Hotel Perth is located in the the suburb of Bentley and is part of the new Exchange precinct at Perth’s Curtin University’s $300M campus redevelopment, an easy 15-minute drive from Perth CBD.
The five-storey hotel includes flexible conference spacing and a modern rooftop terrace available for private events. 60 rooms include 50 superior rooms (31m2), five accessible superior rooms (38m2) with interconnecting rooms for carers if required, and five two-bedroom suites (85m2). Each suite features a bath, shower, microwave and toaster.
The campus is set amongst 116 hectares of beautifully landscaped gardens, with bold architecture throughout and a vibrant, multicultural atmosphere. Over the past decade, the campus has undergone major changes that has introduced a variety of modern buildings interspersed with the original 1960s architecture. Six Degrees Architects are completing the project, drawing on their extensive experience in hotel design. Nesuto is the Japanese pronunciation for ‘nest’, and true to its name, Nesuto properties are designed to make guests feel at home. The Nesuto Curtin interior design features will be modern with rich timber and concrete accents. All rooms have private balconies and are decorated with Indigenous-inspired soft furnishings featuring contemporary Aboriginal art by local WA artist Jimmy Pike, manufactured by Warwick Fabrics.
