A group of Sydney’s Northern Beaches/Warringah travel agents enjoyed another get-together last Friday evening – a friendly and fun event that provides an opportunity for them to talk about the challenges they have each faced since the advent of COVID-19.
The agents are part of a larger group of 40 who met with AFTA and their local member, Zali Steggall, earlier this year to highlight the special situation travel agents have found themselves in throughout the whole pandemic crisis.
The group says it’s great to catch up and share advice and support particularly as, while travel bookings are slowly trickling through again, the reality is that most agents are unlikely to see any significant revenue for some months yet.

The group met on board Captain Cook Cruises’ floating Harbour Bar, some using Dine & Discover vouchers to pay for the cruise. According to Travel Your Style’s Alastair Fearney, it was “Good to get out on the harbour cruising again!”
