As the Western NSW town of Dubbo battles growing COVID-19 cases, NRMA Dubbo Holiday Park is assisting in the battle against the current outbreak by partnering with NSW Health as a Special Health Accommodation centre.
Designed to offer residents of the region – many of whom live in remote rural locations – access to comfortable, free-standing cabins and villas for their required self-isolation period, the holiday park is currently closed due to the state-wide lockdown and is available to accommodate individuals, couples and families needing to isolate from yesterday 6 September. NRMA has worked with NSW Health and the state’s Infectious Control Unit to ensure the site is safe and secure.
NRMA Dubbo Holiday Park offers an open-air environment with ready access to essentials including food and provisions, internet for remote working and schooling and medical services.
NRMA Parks and Resorts CEO Paul Davies said the organisation was pleased to become part of the western NSW efforts against the pandemic.
