Philippine Airlines (PAL) will launch flights from Manila to Delhi and Mumbai in December 2026. The new services give Australian travellers one-stop access to India through the airline’s Manila hub, connecting with PAL flights from Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth. The routes are subject to Indian Government approval.
The airline has also announced a 24-hour sale offering 50 per cent off flights to Manila from Melbourne and Perth.
Seven weekly India services

PAL will operate three weekly return flights to Delhi and four weekly return flights to Mumbai. The Mumbai route is the airline’s first.
Delhi schedule:
- PR642 departs Manila on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 22:40 and arrives in Delhi at 03:00 the following day.
- PR643 departs Delhi on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at 08:15 and arrives in Manila at 17:00.
Mumbai schedule:
- PR646 departs Manila on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays at 22:40 and arrives in Mumbai at 03:05 the following day.
- PR647 departs Mumbai on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays at 07:15 and arrives in Manila at 17:00.
All times are local.
Both routes will use PAL’s 168-seat Airbus A321neo, which has 12 lie-flat business class seats and 156 economy seats.
New option for VFR and corporate travel
The routes give agents another way to route Australian travellers to India, alongside existing carriers. They also open inbound connections from India to four Australian gateways.
PAL Country Manager for Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea Krystle Ramirez Gastrock said the services were aimed at visiting friends and relatives (VFR) travel, heritage travel, business travel and leisure demand.
“For many Australians, travel to India is about reconnecting with family and friends, exploring their heritage, pursuing business opportunities, or experiencing the country’s vibrant culture and diverse tourism attractions,” she said.
Through Manila, the India routes will also connect with other destinations on PAL’s international network, including Los Angeles and Vancouver. They will carry cargo between Australia, India and the Philippines as well.
Flights can be booked through accredited travel agents, as well as through PAL’s website, mobile app, ticket offices and hotline.
Half-price Manila sale for one day
PAL is running a sale offering 50 per cent off flights to Manila from Melbourne and Perth. The sale runs on 30 September 2026 only, from 00:00 to 23:59.
The promo code is PERMEL50OFF. It applies to travel between 5 October and 24 December 2026.
PAL’s Mabuhay Miles program has a frequent flyer partnership with Qantas, which lets members of both programs redeem reward travel across the two networks.
