Preferred Hotels adds four new Bali properties

Preferred Hotels & Resorts has added four new member hotels in Bali, taking its Indonesia portfolio to five properties and its wider Southeast Asia representation to 25 hotels across seven countries.

New members span Canggu, Uluwatu, Ubud and Sanur

Ametis Villa Bali in Canggu offers 14 residential-style private villas, each with a private pool, alongside dining from chef-restaurateur Will Meyrick’s restaurant Billy Ho. Nuju Uluwatu, which debuted in July 2026, is an adults-only boutique retreat in Bali’s Bingin neighbourhood, featuring 17 private pool villas positioned as an alternative to larger resorts in southern Bali.

Samsara Ubud is a One-Michelin Key resort comprising 17 villas in Bali’s Kelusa Village highlands, each with a heated infinity pool, alongside a newly launched literary and cultural sanctuary called Samsara Pustaka. The Meru Sanur is a 184-suite oceanfront resort on Sanur Beach, sitting within The Sanur, Indonesia’s first special economic zone dedicated to health and wellness tourism, and includes a convention centre accommodating up to 5,000 guests.

Additions strengthen Southeast Asia growth strategy

Christine Tan, Preferred Hotels & Resorts’ area managing director for Southeast Asia, said the new members reflect growing demand for experience-driven luxury travel in the region. “These new member properties enhance the diversity and competitiveness of our regional portfolio while providing travellers and our industry partners with greater choice in one of Asia Pacific’s most sought-after destinations,” Tan said.

The Bali additions join AYANA Midplaza Jakarta and sit alongside other Southeast Asia portfolio hotels including Dusit Thani Bangkok, The Fullerton Hotel Singapore and The RuMa Hotel & Residences in Kuala Lumpur.

Trade support includes training and reservation access

Preferred Hotels & Resorts’ Singapore-based team provides dedicated support for travel industry partners across the region, including training, sales support and access to the brand’s global sales and centralised reservation channels. Agent partners can also access regional campaigns, roadshows and trade activations. Each new member hotel participates in I Prefer Hotel Rewards, the brand’s loyalty program with 7 million enrolled travellers globally.

For agents selling luxury Bali product, the four new properties add diverse independent hotel options across different parts of the island, from Canggu’s surf culture to Ubud’s wellness positioning, giving advisors more choice within a single trusted brand ecosystem and loyalty program.
