Princess Cruises is taking its Alaska training on the road this month with a five-city trade roadshow designed to help travel advisors boost their destination knowledge while competing for a place on an exclusive Alaska famil.
Timed to coincide with the launch of the cruise line’s 2028 Alaska season, the national roadshow will visit Brisbane, Adelaide, Sydney, Perth and Melbourne between 25 and 27 August.
Alaska comes to life for the trade

Inspired by Ketchikan’s famous lumberjack culture, the events will combine axe throwing, destination training, food and drinks, giving advisors an immersive introduction to one of Princess Cruises’ signature destinations.
Princess Cruises Senior Director Sales & Marketing Nick Ferguson said the roadshow was designed to give travel advisors a taste of Alaska before they sell it.
“We know the best advocates are those who’ve experienced the destination firsthand, and we’re excited to help more agents discover why a Princess Alaska cruise is one of the world’s most unforgettable holiday experiences,” Ferguson said.
Booking incentive offers Alaska famil

The cruise line has also launched a new booking incentive in partnership with EVA Air and Washington State Tourism.
Ten travel advisors will win a hosted famil including return flights, accommodation in Seattle and a seven-night cruise aboard Star Princess in May 2027. To enter, advisors must book an eligible Princess Alaska cruise between 16 August and 12 October 2026 and submit, in 25 words or less, what excites them most about cruising Alaska with Princess.
Travel advisors interested in attending the roadshow are encouraged to register with their Princess Cruises Business Development Manager, with places limited.
