Qatar Airways boosts flights to meet growing demand

Qatar Airways is expanding its global network with additional flights to key destinations across Africa, Asia, Europe and the Middle East. The increased services will give travellers more flexibility and seamless connections through the airline’s award-winning hub, Hamad International Airport.

Qatar Airways chief commercial officer Thierry Antinori said the move reflects the airline’s commitment to enhancing global connectivity.

“Our vast network of destinations is complemented by strong flight frequencies to benefit our passengers,” Antinori said. “With the peak summer season approaching, we are pleased to meet growing travel demand with accessible and convenient flight schedules.”

More flight options for travellers

Passengers can now enjoy increased services to several destinations, including:

  • Amsterdam – from seven to 11 weekly flights
  • Damascus – from three to 14 weekly flights
  • Dar Es Salaam-Kilimanjaro – from three to seven weekly flights
  • Entebbe – from seven to 11 weekly flights
  • Larnaca – from seven to 10 weekly flights
  • London Heathrow – from 49 to 56 weekly flights
  • Madrid – from 14 to 17 weekly flights (jointly operated flights with Iberia increasing from 21 to 24)
  • Maputo-Durban – from five to seven weekly flights
  • Sharjah – from 21 to 35 weekly flights
  • Tokyo Narita – from 11 to 14 weekly flights
  • Tunis – from 10 to 12 weekly flights
