Rail Europe has expanded its European rail network with the addition of Italian regional operator Arenaways, giving travel advisors and travellers easier access to lesser-known destinations across Piedmont.
The new partnership adds a seven-stop regional route to Rail Europe’s booking platform, supporting growing demand for slow travel experiences beyond Italy’s major cities.
New route showcases authentic Piedmont
The Arenaways service connects Cuneo, Busca, Costigliole Saluzzo, Verzuolo, Manta, Saluzzo and Savigliano, providing access to the region’s Slow Food heritage, medieval towns and cultural attractions.
The addition follows Rail Europe’s recent integrations of BritRail, European Sleeper, Leo Express and Campania Express, further expanding its portfolio of regional and cross-border rail operators.
More options for travel advisors
By making Arenaways tickets available through its platform, Rail Europe enables travel advisors to incorporate regional rail journeys into broader Italian and European itineraries.
The route also offers family-friendly pricing, with children under four travelling free without their own seat and children aged four to 11 receiving a 50 per cent fare discount.
