RateHawk reports 78 per cent growth in API bookings

RateHawk has recorded 78 per cent cumulative year-on-year growth in API bookings by the end of the first half of 2026, alongside 28 per cent growth in its partner network, as travel businesses increasingly turn to API integrations for accommodation supply.

Partner network expands to 1,800 companies globally

RateHawk’s partner network reached 1,800 companies globally in the first half of 2026, including online travel agencies, tour operators, travel management companies and startups integrating accommodation inventory into their platforms. Partners access millions of accommodation listings across more than 190 countries, sourced from global suppliers and directly contracted properties. Bedfares in the UK is among RateHawk’s most recent API partners.

Christopher Jallah, RateHawk’s head of API distribution, said the growth reflects a broader industry shift toward connected technology ecosystems. “Building a broad and competitive accommodation portfolio independently can take years and requires significant investment, which is why more travel companies are turning to API integrations,” Jallah said.

New Content API adds AI-powered tools

RateHawk has launched a Content API available in 32 languages, offering enriched real-time hotel information with AI-powered mapping, content management and rate matching tools, alongside anomaly detection for data quality at scale. The API also supports package rates and multi-room bookings within a single order.

Partners can integrate directly with RateHawk or through more than 100 travel technology partners. The company has introduced a dedicated API Optimization Manager role in most markets and launched a self-service sandbox environment allowing businesses to test integrations before onboarding.

For OTAs, TMCs and tour operators evaluating accommodation supply options, RateHawk’s growth signals continued momentum in API-based distribution as an alternative to building proprietary supplier relationships, with the platform currently offering access to 3.2 million hotels and other accommodation types, including direct contracts with more than 250,000 properties.
