Regent Seven Seas Cruises and Rocky Mountaineer have released their 2027 Cruise, Rail, Rockies collection, offering five departures that combine luxury rail travel through the Canadian Rockies with an all-inclusive Alaska cruise aboard Seven Seas Explorer.
The limited series pairs a two-day GoldLeaf Service journey on Rocky Mountaineer with a seven-night Regent Seven Seas Cruises voyage through Alaska’s Inside Passage, giving travellers a seamless way to experience two of North America’s most popular destinations in one itinerary.
Five departures on sale
Available between May and August 2027, each package includes six nights’ hotel accommodation in Calgary, Banff, Kamloops and Vancouver, guided touring in the Canadian Rockies and Vancouver, two days aboard Rocky Mountaineer and a seven-night sailing from Vancouver to Whittier.
The five departures are Wild Frontier Adventure (20 May), Summer in Skagway (3 June), Evergreen Shores (17 June), Birdwatchers Heaven (30 July) and Glacier Peaks & Historic Rails (12 August), with prices starting from AU$13,991 per person for a Deluxe Veranda Suite.
Combining rail and luxury cruising
Highlights include visits to Mendenhall Glacier, wildlife viewing opportunities, Gold Rush history, Indigenous cultural experiences and Regent’s unlimited shore excursions, alongside the luxury cruise line’s all-inclusive onboard offering.
With only five departures scheduled for 2027, the Cruise, Rail, Rockies program is expected to appeal to Australian travellers seeking premium land-and-sea holidays, a segment that continues to perform strongly in the local market.
