Registrations for the 2021 Australian Regional Tourism (ART) Convention – to be held from 11-13 October 2021 in Ballarat, Victoria – are now open.
This year’s theme is ‘A Robust Visitor Economy – navigating our new future’.
The ART Convention is a must-attend event for local councils, regional tourism organisations, tourism professionals and businesses, and government personnel wanting to contribute to the future of regional tourism in Australia.
Regarded as the most significant annual event for anyone engaged in regional tourism, the convention provides delegates the opportunity to connect, share ideas and engage in robust discussions around opportunities and challenges being faced by the industry.
Delegates to ART Conventions come from local government, regional and state tourism organisations and a raft of private sector businesses that service their needs.
ART and the City of Ballarat continue to work in partnership to ensure the 2021 Convention delivers relevant and meaningful content for delegates.
“We’re excited that the ART Convention will be held in person in Ballarat, Victoria. The Region offers a diverse collection of tourism experiences that will be showcased as part of an engaging famil program,” said ART Chair, Coralie Bell.
“The Convention is a forum in which regional tourism practitioners can exchange ideas, discuss and debate some of the most important issues, challenges and opportunities facing regional tourism.”
Earlybird registrations are now open until 1 July 2021.
