Canada’s largest international tourism marketplace, Rendez-vous Canada (RVC), is set to take place in Winnipeg, Manitoba, from 27–30 May 2025. Travel buyers and media from around the world — including Australia and New Zealand — are being invited to experience Canada’s heartland as the event returns to the city for the first time since 2010.
Jointly hosted by Travel Manitoba and Tourism Winnipeg, and co-produced by Destination Canada and the Tourism Industry Association of Canada (TIAC), RVC 2025 will be held at the RBC Convention Centre in downtown Winnipeg. The event will spotlight Manitoba’s unique travel experiences while generating significant economic impact for the region.
A global platform for Canadian tourism
RVC brings together hundreds of international travel buyers and media for thousands of face-to-face meetings with Canadian tourism suppliers. The aim is to foster new partnerships, strengthen business relationships, and boost inbound travel to Canada.
Early estimates suggest the 2025 event will generate over $4.6 million in direct economic impact for Winnipeg, and up to $65 million in future tourism business. With 1,400 delegates, over 4,000 hotel room nights, and 22 city tours planned, the event is poised to leave a lasting mark on the local industry.
Winnipeg ready to shine
Cody Chomiak, Vice-President of Marketing for Travel Manitoba and co-chair of the RVC 2025 planning committee, said the event offers a rare opportunity to showcase Manitoba to the world.
