Red Sea Global has opened Rosewood AMAALA, the third luxury resort at AMAALA’s Triple Bay development on Saudi Arabia’s northwestern Red Sea coast, adding 110 keys as part of the destination’s positioning as the Kingdom’s flagship wellness hub.
Low-density resort adds wellness-focused inventory

Rosewood AMAALA spans approximately 40 hectares, with pavilions, suites and villas arranged in clusters within green sanctuaries, each featuring a private swimming pool. The resort also includes multiple shared pools and two natural rock pools set along the Red Sea coast. Design is by Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel (ACPV), drawing on the surrounding Tabuk mountains and coastline.
The resort’s Asaya spa covers 2,100 square metres, including six treatment rooms, a double treatment suite, a private hammam, separate men’s and women’s wet areas, two fitness centres and yoga and movement studios. Social House offers a private day spa bookable by a single group. Eight dining venues span Mediterranean restaurants, grill concepts, lounges and poolside bars. Rosewood Residences AMAALA adds 26 branded three- to five-bedroom villas, with interiors by Tristan Auer.
Opening part of phased AMAALA rollout
John Pagano, group chief executive of Red Sea Global, said the opening strengthens AMAALA’s positioning as a wellness destination. “Together with our growing collection of wellness operators and hospitality partners, the resort expands the range of experiences available to guests seeking restorative, meaningful and immersive stays along the Red Sea coast,” Pagano said.
Rosewood AMAALA is the third resort to open at Triple Bay, with five further resorts planned in coming months as part of AMAALA’s broader development, which is set to include more than 1,600 hotel rooms across nine resorts, alongside a marina, retail and a marine life research institute. The destination is fully powered by solar energy, with Red Sea Global targeting a 30 per cent net conservation gain by 2040.
For agents selling Middle East luxury and wellness travel, the opening adds a Rosewood-branded property to a still-developing destination, giving advisors an established luxury hotel brand within a new market as AMAALA’s broader resort portfolio continues to roll out.
