Royal Caribbean has announced its most expansive Australian cruise season for 2026–2027, with Quantum of the Seas returning to Brisbane and Anthem of the Seas continuing its Sydney deployment.
The new season, running from October 2026 to April 2027, features a diverse lineup of 3- to 25-night cruises across Australia, New Zealand, and the South Pacific.
Quantum of the Seas returns to Brisbane
Quantum of the Seas will homeport in Brisbane for its fourth consecutive season, offering 28 cruises ranging from 3 to 8 nights. Destinations include Noumea, Port Vila, Mystery Island, Airlie Beach, and Cairns. The ship’s schedule emphasizes flexibility, with more weekend departures and short getaways designed to cater to families and holidaymakers seeking quick escapes.
Anthem of the Seas sails from Sydney
Anthem of the Seas will continue to operate from Sydney, offering 21 cruises between 3 and 11 nights. Itineraries include 4-night getaways to Hobart and longer voyages to the South Pacific and New Zealand. New 9-night New Zealand cruises will visit ports such as Wellington, Napier, Dunedin, and Milford Sound, providing guests with comprehensive experiences of the region.
25-night transpacific voyage from Los Angeles
A highlight of the season is a 25-night transpacific cruise aboard Quantum of the Seas, departing Los Angeles on 26 September 2026. This voyage will traverse the Pacific Ocean, visiting destinations including Hawaii, French Polynesia, and, for the first time on an Australian itinerary, California’s Catalina Island, before arriving in Brisbane.

Both Quantum and Anthem of the Seas offer a range of onboard activities and amenities. Guests can enjoy the RipCord by iFly skydiving simulator, FlowRider surf simulator, and North Star observation capsule. Dining options include Izumi, Chops Grille, and Jamie’s Italian. Entertainment venues such as the Royal Theatre and Two70 provide world-class performances, while relaxation areas like the Vitality Spa and adults-only Solarium offer serene retreats.
