Award-winning Tasmanian lodge Saffire Freycinet is marking 15 years of redefining luxury in Australia with a limited-time winter package designed to connect guests with the wild beauty of Freycinet Peninsula.
Opened in 2010, the coastal retreat has welcomed more than 82,000 guests, with the majority of its suppliers locally owned – highlighting its long-standing commitment to community, environment and immersive travel.
Signature experiences and timeless design
The two-night ‘15 Years of Leading Luxury’ package includes an upgrade to a Signature Suite, all meals and beverages, Saffire’s signature experiences, a $100 property credit and late check-out. On sale until 31 July 2025 for travel until 31 August 2025, it starts from $2,350 per person, twin share.
Since its inception, Saffire has prioritised genuine connection to place – from harvesting oysters with a glass of sparkling wine to learning about the land’s stories with a First Nations guide. Guests can also explore Freycinet National Park, meet Tasmanian devils, or unwind with wellness treatments inspired by local traditions.
Designed by Circa Morris-Nunn Architects, the lodge’s manta ray-inspired form offers uninterrupted views of the Hazards Mountains, seamlessly integrating luxury with landscape.
Looking ahead: The next chapter
In late 2026, Saffire will launch an ultra-premium Saffire Villa for small groups and families seeking enhanced privacy and bespoke experiences. Sustainability remains at the core of its philosophy, with around 85 per cent of ingredients sourced locally and a long-standing dedication to regenerative practices.
Federal Group CEO Greg Farrell said Saffire was created to reflect Tasmania’s raw beauty while offering deeply personal luxury: “From the start, it was never just a place to stay – it was a place to feel.”
