Singapore Airlines extends NTIA sponsorship for fifth year

Singapore Airlines will return as major sponsor of the National Travel Industry Awards (NTIAs) for a fifth consecutive year, extending its partnership with the Australian Travel Industry Association (ATIA) ahead of the 2026 event in Melbourne.

Awards weekend includes summit and gala

The 2026 NTIAs will run alongside the Beyond Borders Travel Summit on Friday, 9 October 2026 at the Melbourne Convention Centre, followed by the NTIA Gala on Saturday, 10 October 2026 at Palladium at Crown, Melbourne. ATIA said the 2026 event is on track to be the largest in the awards’ history.

Greg McJarrow, Singapore Airlines’ general manager of agency sales for Australia, said the sponsorship reflects the carrier’s ongoing relationship with the local travel trade. “Our partnership with the industry runs deep, and we’re proud to play our part in celebrating its people and backing a sector that continues to show real strength,” McJarrow said.

Sponsorship supports industry recognition event

Dean Long, ATIA chief executive, said the continued backing helps ensure travel professionals’ work is properly recognised. “Singapore Airlines’ continued support for the NTIAs helps ensure that the professionalism, care and expertise of agents, advisors and tour operators is properly recognised at our night of nights,” Long said.

For ATIA’s accredited members, the sponsorship renewal underpins the continued scale of the NTIAs as the industry’s key recognition event, with the awards drawing agents, advisors and tour operators from across the sector each year.
