Lunch at The Apprentice Restaurant in Ultimo, a TAFE NSW licensed training restaurant that promotes and nurtures food service excellence, is back for Skål International Sydney in 2021!
The always fun and informative lunch, with great networking opportunities, will be held on Wednesday 9 June 2021 from 12 pm – 2 pm, members $50, non-members $60.
Guest Speaker, Carol Giuseppi, general manager operations National/NSW at Accommodation Association of Australia, will be providing an insight into the devastating impacts of COVID on the accommodation sector in Australia and some of the initiatives that are being implemented to assist in rebuilding the sector, including the impact of skills shortages on the sector’s ability to return to pre-COVID occupancy rates.
She holds an Executive MBA, a Masters of Business (Marketing), a Bachelor of Science and a Diploma of Market Research. She is also a graduate of the Institute of Company Directors and, in her current position, her role encompasses policy, advocacy and member services.
Carol is a senior business professional, with a strong stakeholder management, advocacy and strategic business background. Since commencing her career at British Airways, she has held senior positions within the tourism and hospitality sector inclusive at Southern Pacific Hotels, Fox Studios, Sydney Olympic Park Authority and Tourism Accommodation Australia, as well as outside the sector with American Express and Amber Group.
She has been a director on the board of HTN (Hospitality Employment Solutions), on the Tourism Advisory Board of Service Skills Australia and on the CatholicCare Foundations Board.
