South Korea is taking centre stage as one of 2025’s hottest destinations, joining Japan as a favourite for Australian travellers.
Wendy Wu Tours has reported a surge in interest, with Managing Director Simon Bell calling it a ‘rising star’ heading into the summer booking season.
Demand for South Korea soars
South Korea has seen a 45 per cent year-on-year increase in tour search volumes, driven by its unique blend of culture and natural beauty. According to Simon Bell, the Essence of South Korea & Japan tour, introduced last year, has exceeded expectations.
‘We’ve been genuinely surprised by how well this multi-destination tour has performed,’ Mr Bell said. ‘It’s clear South Korea is set to be on everyone’s bucket list in 2025.’
