Studio10 spends week in Samoa

As Samoa’s borders opened to travellers after being closed for 865, Studio10 and roving travel reporter Daniel Doody were on the ground in the island nation to capture all the action and showcase the beauty of Samoa.

Arriving on the first Qantas flight to Apia, Daniel Doody danced his way through arrivals and was met by a jubilant crowd of local Samoans who welcomed arriving visitors to the country with warm smiles and open arms.

Living his best life, it was a special visit for Daniel Doody as he not only showcased that Beautiful Is Back in Samoa, but reconnected with his family roots in the Polynesian island as his mother is Samoan born.

Samoa featured regularly across Studio10 all week with live crosses from the island nation in an important activation for Samoa Tourism Authority.
