NSW tourism operator Sydney Seaplanes has launched the #openskies campaign, offering significant discounts to vaccinated Australians.
“The impact of COVID on the local tourism sector has been devastating,” Sydney Seaplanes CEO Aaron Shaw said “and it will only recover when enough Australians are vaccinated for domestic and international travel to return.
“As vaccine supply starts to ramp up between now and the end of the year, it’s critical we encourage as many Australians as possible to get vaccinated. By joining the #openskies campaign, tourism operators can encourage higher vaccination rates by offering attractive discounts or benefits to locals who do the right thing by their fellow Australians.
Until 31 August 2021, Sydney Seaplanes will be offering 25 per-cent off all bookings to those who are fully vaccinated at the time of their flight. Everyone, regardless of their COVID-19 immunisation status, can redeem the discount on bookings up to 31 August provided they are fully vaccinated when they fly. All they need to do is share their COVID-19 digital certificate from their Medicare Immunisation history prior to their flight.
The #openskies initiative will run until the end of 2021 and bookings can be made HERE.
