Merlin Entertainments is preparing for the re-opening of its famed family attractions at Sydney’s Darling Harbour.
“We are incredibly pleased to welcome the public back into our attractions and do what we do best; create opportunities for magical memories for all,” said Rob Smith, Divisional Director for Merlin Entertainments APAC.
“Of course, safety is our number one priority and we won’t put that at risk, so we feel extremely confident to take this next step. Our established infrastructure, experience and operations mean we have the right measures and policies in place to re-open safely to protect our staff and guests”.
From 1 June 2020, SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium, WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo and Madame Tussauds Sydney will once again open their doors to visitors, albeit with social distancing and health and safety protocols in place.
The attractions will be completely cashless operations, and lower capacity limits with allocated time-slots for guests will be in place.T he use of additional Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and clothing for staff, the provision of spatial separation markings, the installation of hygiene screens in various areas, enhanced cleaning regimes and other similar operating adjustments around the attractions.
