TFE Hotels is expanding into the United Kingdom for the first time, unveiling two new Adina Apartment Hotels in Cambridge and Glasgow. The openings mark a major step in the group’s European growth strategy, adding to its established presence across continental Europe and Asia.
Adina arrives in Cambridge with The Hobson
Launched on 24 November, The Hobson Cambridge by Adina occupies the restored Grade II listed Hobson House on St Andrew’s Street. The 56-key studio-style property blends heritage architecture with contemporary apartment-style living, featuring vaulted ceilings, exposed timber and preserved period elements.
Designed for both short and extended stays, studios come with modern kitchenettes and open-plan layouts. The hotel also includes a private meeting room and Oz & Isle restaurant, bringing an Australian-inspired dining experience to Cambridge with share plates and a strong drinks offering. Guests can access major cultural sites, dining precincts and transport links within walking distance.
Opening rates start from £99 per night for stays through to 31 January 2026, including a welcome gift for bookings made before 31 December.
Glasgow welcomes The Wellington by Adina

Opening 8 December 2025, The Wellington Glasgow by Adina transforms the historic Wellington House into a 98-key, design-led aparthotel. The property introduces Adina’s casual, flexible living style to Scotland with a choice of Studio Rooms and Studio Premier categories, each offering stylish kitchenettes, coffee machines and in-room steamers.
Hotel amenities include a gym, flexible meeting space and a café bar offering grab-and-go breakfast options and relaxed evening drinks. Interiors pay tribute to Glasgow’s architectural and cultural heritage, creating a warm setting for both business and leisure travellers.
A special opening offer is available from £99 per night for stays until 31 January 2026, for bookings made before 30 January.
Strategic expansion into the UK market
TFE Hotels CEO Antony Ritch said the openings mark an important milestone in the company’s European strategy, with both properties aligning with TFE’s focus on flexible, design-led studio-hotel experiences in globally connected cities. He added that the UK is a key market for future Adina growth.
