The Dream Collective returns to champion WA tourism

Tourism Western Australia and Tourism Council WA have confirmed the return of The Dream Collective Western Australia, following a highly successful inaugural year.

The program, designed to elevate the state’s best tourism operators, is now open for 2025 applications, with entries closing 5 June.

Launched in 2024, The Dream Collective WA highlights outstanding tourism operators through increased brand exposure, strategic digital campaigns, public relations support and industry development initiatives. The initiative aligns with Western Australia’s global destination brand, Walking On A Dream, and aims to position local businesses for national and international recognition.

Strong results in its first year

In its first year, the program delivered measurable benefits for participating businesses:

  • Reached over 2.3 million high-value domestic travellers through Tourism WA campaigns
  • Drove 42,000 visits to operator profiles on westernaustralia.com
  • Delivered over 100 influencer content pieces viewed by a combined audience of more than 350,000
  • Included more than 250 trade and media familiarisation tours
  • Sent targeted emails to more than 85,000 global subscribers

Tourism WA Managing Director Anneke Brown said the program was a powerful platform to spotlight the state’s tourism talent.

“The Dream Collective WA has delivered incredible exposure and tangible benefits for participating operators, helping to grow WA tourism businesses and reinforcing our reputation as a must-visit destination.”

Showcasing premium, sustainable tourism

Tourism Council WA CEO Evan Hall said the program celebrated businesses offering quality, sustainable and inclusive visitor experiences.

“These businesses have the highest online reputation and are the best ambassadors for Perth and regional destinations,” he said.

“The Dream Collective has given them major exposure to discerning interstate and local visitors.”

Eligibility and how to apply

To be included in The Dream Collective WA, operators must meet criteria across customer reviews, online presence, marketing, training, accreditation, and awards, with a strong emphasis on sustainability and accessibility.

Apply now at wadreamcollective.com before 5 June to be part of the 2025 program.
