The magic of Hong Kong WinterFest unfolds

Hong Kong has officially welcomed the festive season, transforming the city into a glittering winter wonderland as Hong Kong WinterFest launched on 14 November.

At the heart of the celebrations is Winter Wonderland in Central, featuring a spectacular 20-metre Christmas tree and a giant toy-themed Christmas Town that sets the scene for weeks of citywide festivities.

Christmas Town Brings a Dreamlike Winter World to Central

Statue Square Garden has become a vibrant Christmas Town filled with festive melodies, a towering centrepiece tree with dynamic lighting, and 28 smaller trees dressed in gold, red and copper. Giant toy-themed installations — from classic aeroplanes and trains to playful puppets — create a whimsical fairytale setting.

A miniature train runs every 20 minutes, complete with steam and sound effects, offering a perfect photo moment at the twinkling Starlight Train Station. Visitors can also look forward to live carols, Santa appearances, and from 28 November, a Christmas market featuring 12 chalets of seasonal treats, gifts and workshops.

On the same evening, eight surrounding buildings will illuminate the skyline during the Immersive Lights Show in Central, creating an unforgettable audiovisual spectacle.

Chater Road Becomes “Starlight Boulevard”

Connecting directly to Christmas Town, Chater Road is set to transform into Starlight Boulevard with more than 30 illuminated trees and footbridges. A golden Christmas tree installation will glow at the Chater House entrance, leading visitors to the festive “Noëlia at LANDMARK” experience inside LANDMARK ATRIUM — a beautifully curated photo spot perfect for capturing winter memories.
