Tourism Fiji has announced that it will cancel the Fijian Tourism Expo (FTE) 2020.
FTE is one of the highlights of the year in Fiji, and brings the local tourism industry together with global buyers. Tourism Fiji says, given the recent global news about the COVID-19 pandemic and after careful deliberation that it “…cannot see how it is practical for us to deliver the event that our destination deserves. We have received lower buyer registrations and travel restrictions are likely to impact this further. For this reason and for the comfort of our industry, we are cancelling FTE 2020.”
Tourism Fiji says it looks forward to an exciting FTE 20201 and will be inviting buyers from across the world to share happiness in Fiji through a program of famils that showcase the destination to its fullest.
