Trafalgar will absorb the 2027 portfolios of Insight Vacations and Costsaver under a single brand name, creating an expanded portfolio spanning five travel categories and three value tiers, going on sale in Q4 2026 ahead of the Black Friday booking period.
Expanded brand spans 600 itineraries across five categories
The unified Trafalgar will offer more than 600 itineraries across 75 countries, organised into five travel categories: Tours, Small Groups, River Cruises, Rail Journeys and Group Sales. Three value tiers, saver, classic and premium, replace the previous brand-based distinction, with premium retaining the elevated hotels and experiences associated with Insight Vacations, saver retaining Costsaver’s value and flexibility positioning, and classic representing the existing Trafalgar experience. For 2027 departures, existing itineraries, experiences and pricing remain unchanged.
Andrew Young, senior vice president of TTC Tour Brands Oceania, said the change is designed to simplify the agent experience rather than reduce choice. “Growth has given us more ways than ever to serve travellers, but more choice shouldn’t mean more complexity for the agents who sell us,” Young said. “We want an agent to be able to come to Trafalgar with a client and find the right way for them to travel, whether that means a premium tour, a small group, a river cruise or a completely different experience as their needs evolve.”
Trade support hub goes live ahead of Q4 rollout
Trafalgar’s Your New Era hub is now live on the Travel Agent Portal, offering information, training and resources ahead of the transition. A live webinar is scheduled for 3 September 2026 at 12pm AEST/2pm NZST, alongside ongoing eLearning and Sales Manager-led training options. Additional navigation features for the five categories and three tiers will be integrated into the Travel Agent Portal, with new bookable experiences going live on agents.ttc.com in Q4 2026.
For agents selling guided touring, river cruising and rail product, the consolidation removes the need to navigate three separate brand relationships, with a single trusted name now spanning saver through premium price points, backed by what Trafalgar describes as its largest-ever brand investment to drive consumer demand.
