Destination Webinars is marking a milestone for its Travel Agent Takeaways podcast, celebrating its 50th episode and fifth season with a competition for Australian and New Zealand travel advisors.
Travel advisors who follow the podcast and leave a rating or review on Apple Podcasts or Spotify by 28 August 2026 will go into the draw to win a pair of Bose QuietComfort Noise Cancelling Headphones valued at $299.
Podcast reaches 50-episode milestone
Launched two years ago, Travel Agent Takeaways was created to provide flexible, on-demand training for travel advisors, allowing them to access destination and product updates while commuting, travelling or between client appointments.
The podcast has now surpassed 11,000 downloads across 50 episodes, featuring destinations, suppliers and industry experts.
Season five includes interviews with Destination Vancouver, Brand USA, Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, Visit Park City, Vanuatu Tourism Office, Tonga Tourism, AmaWaterways, Albatross Tours, Evolution Travel Collective, Armstrong Collective and Rockefeller Center.
Season six already in production
Destination Webinars founder and podcast host Charlie Trevena said the series continues to evolve alongside the needs of today’s travel advisors.
“Travel Agent Takeaways was created to make ongoing learning easy and accessible,” Trevena said.
“Reaching five seasons and 50 episodes is a milestone I’m incredibly proud of, but what excites me most is seeing more advisors embracing podcasts as part of their professional development.”
Season six is already in production and will continue to feature destination updates, supplier insights and product knowledge for the travel trade.
To enter the competition, advisors must leave a rating or review on Apple Podcasts or Spotify and complete the online entry form by 28 August 2026.
