Travelmarvel has unveiled its 2027 Rail Tours collection, marking the first season the operator will run its global rail touring program entirely in-house.
The move sees Travelmarvel transition away from third-party rail suppliers, giving the company full control over its escorted rail holidays across Europe, Asia, North America, Australia and New Zealand.
In-house operation expands rail offering
The 2027 program features some of the world’s best-known rail journeys, with all itineraries fully escorted by a Travelmarvel Tour Director and supported by local guides.
Guests will also benefit from premium accommodation, hotel porterage and optional Enhance Your Journey experiences.
Sarah Latimore, General Manager – International Product and Operations, said rail travel continued to attract travellers seeking a more immersive way to explore destinations.
“The introduction of our own rail touring program is a fantastic addition for Travelmarvel, offering a new way for guests to discover our locations,” Latimore said.
“We’re seeing growing interest from guests who recognise the many benefits of rail travel.”
New Scotland itinerary leads 2027 program
Among the new additions is the 10-day Scotland by Rail itinerary, operated as a small-group tour with a maximum of 24 guests. The journey includes the Kyle Line, West Highland Line and the iconic Jacobite steam train, with prices from $7,595 per person.
Other featured itineraries include the 12-day Magical Japan tour, showcasing the Shinkansen bullet train and cultural highlights including Hiroshima and Miyajima, from $8,295 per person.
In Canada, the 12-day Enchanting Rockies itinerary includes the Rocky Mountaineer in SilverLeaf Service, while closer to home, the 15-day New Zealand Rail Adventure combines the Northern Explorer, Coastal Pacific and TranzAlpine rail journeys.
Travelmarvel said the expanded program reflects growing consumer demand for rail holidays that combine scenic travel with fully escorted touring.
