Travvia, the parent company behind JUCY and Star RV, has announced a leadership transition set to take place at the end of June. After five years as CEO, co-founder Dan Alpe will step down and take on the role of Executive Director, where he’ll continue to drive innovation and trade partnerships across the business.
New leadership for next phase of growth
Alpe, who has played a pivotal role in Travvia’s growth over two decades, will remain actively involved with a focus on product development and industry engagement. He said, “It’s been an absolute privilege to lead this incredible business. What we’ve built together is something I’m really proud of and I am genuinely looking forward to the next chapter.”
The CEO role will be assumed by tourism executive Simon Birkenhead, bringing with him a strong commercial and strategic background. His appointment comes as Travvia enters an exciting growth phase, with Birkenhead set to work closely alongside Alpe and the wider leadership team.
Travvia’s operational team across Australia and New Zealand remains unchanged, continuing its mission to deliver exceptional experiences to travellers through its JUCY and Star RV brands.
