Ahura Resorts, the Fijian family company which owns and operates Malolo and Likuliku, has announced reopening dates for both popular resorts, after a long closure of 20 months.
The company says it has remained connected to its family of staff over this time, including deploying a food voucher distribution program every quarter to help staff and their families replenish staple grocery items.
“We have waited and worked hard towards this day for a long time,” said owner and managing director, Mr Tony Whitton. “There are probably not enough words to explain the feelings of excitement, relief and joy we have, that we can finally get our staff back to work and once again, welcome our valued guests to our shores.
“Both resorts are recording high levels of enquiries and bookings from all over the world and our family of staff can’t wait to share our beautiful island and its pristine surroundings again. We know our guests will want to rest, reconnect and find inspiration after such a long wait. And I can tell you , we are ready to welcome them back!”
Malolo Island Resort will reopen to international guests on 20 December 2021, followed by Likuliku Lagoon Resort on 1 February 2022.
To welcome back guests, Malolo and Likuliku are both offering packages:
Malolo Island Resort: Stay 5 Pay 3 plus Meals* – Valid for travel 15 January to 31 March 2022.
Likuliku Lagoon: Stay 5 Pay 4 including 1hr Couples Massage, 2hr Private Picnic on the Resort’s private island and a FJD$500 Beverage Credit – Valid for travel 1 February to 31 March 2022.
