Over 250 Brisbane travel agents attended Tuesday night’s USA Expo in Brisbane, held at Howard Smith Wharves.
US Consul General Sharon Hudson-Dean made a surprise visit to mix with the agents.
“The energy and enthusiasm at the Visit USA Expos 2019 is really impressive,” said Ms Hudson-Dean.
“The USA has an endless list of top class tourist destinations and we’re thrilled that Australian travellers come for long visits to explore and experience as much as they can, frequently more than once. Our doors are open and we love to host Australian visitors.”
The major prize was won by Phil Feldman from Above Beyond Below, pictured with Mary Bergin from Virgin Australia, Naomi Allen from Delta Airlines and Richard Reid. Phil’s prize is return airfares to LAX with Delta Airlines and Virgin Australia, staying in Philadelphia and at the Beacon Hotel New York.
The roadshow moved to the Hilton Hotel in Sydney last night.
